Aaron John Roy
Biography
Aaron graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a degree in Political Science and Economics. Knowing what he wanted to do with the degree, he returned to his home state of Minnesota and immediately went to law school at the University of St. Thomas.
After his first year of law school, Aaron knew he wanted to practice criminal defense and spent the summer working as a certified student attorney with the Anoka County Public Defender, representing clients at bail hearings. He later was a student in the Criminal and Juvenile Defense Clinic at St. Thomas where he and other student attorneys represented clients in a variety of criminal and juvenile delinquency cases from start to finish.
After his second year of school, Aaron began working as a law clerk at Groshek Law. He continued clerking with us his entire third year of school and even after graduation as he studied to take the bar examination. He has since graduated, passed the bar, and is a licensed attorney, diligently representing clients. He has spent nearly all of his legal career at Groshek Law and has internalized the core values we practice.
